WHO I AM
WHO I AM
I am an Osteopath and my work consists in pain treatment through an accurate anamnesis, a clinic evaluation and conscientious research of the main muscle – bone dysfunction, with the aim to identify the causes of the pain or the symptoms of the patient.
I graduated in Motor Science at the University of Urbino in 2012 where I also had the chance to follow specific courses on massage therapy.
Subsequently, in 2018, I obtained a Degree in Osteopathy in Parma.
I am registered in the Italian Register of the Osteopath and I do work in my Studio in Ceglie Messapica, Brindisi (BR).
WHAT I DO
WHAT I DO
At the first appointment for an osteopathic treatment, an accurate anamnesis is needed to:
- further understand with the patient of which exact type of pain is affected and
- subsequently, identify whether osteopathy is the correct treatment to be used to ease the patient’s pain.
To this end, a first clinic evaluation is performed.
Once ensured that there are possibilities of intervention, an osteopathic analysis is performed with the aim to identify the somatic dysfunctions, or rather an altered function or component of the body. Based on this, the therapeutic -manipulation path is defined with the aim to relief the source of pain and to restore the original mobility and functionality of the interested structure. The Osteopath uses different techniques based on:
- the type of dysfunction
- the age of the patient (i.e. osteopathic treatment can be applied to newborn as well as to old aged patients, pregnant women and athletes)
